TEST DESCRIPTION
The following test diagnoses:
^ The "Unable to contact OnStar(R)" prompt from the system.
^ The "Connecting to OnStar(R)" prompt from the system with no connection made.

The following numbers refer to steps in the table.

IMPORTANT: Check the following before preceding with this step:

1. Coax connections tight at the coupling box and the VCU.
2. Antenna not mounted over Defogger Grid Lines.
3. No visible damage to the antenna coupling box.
4. Antenna not mounted over after market window tint.
5. Antenna pointing straight up and down.
6. Several inches above the tip of antenna above the vehicle roof line.
7. The vehicle is parked away from large buildings and high tension wires.
