SIR Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.





2. Remove the wire harness assembly (4) out of the wire harness strap (5).
Remove the wire harness straps (3) from the wire harness assembly (4).
Remove the wire harness strap (2) from the upper tilt head assembly (1).





3. To remove the SIR coil assembly follow these steps:
3.1. The retaining ring (1).
3.2. The SIR coil assembly (3).
3.3. The wave washer (2).
