Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the nuts that retain the bucket seat to the floor. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
2. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector from the floor.
3. Remove the power seat and riser from the vehicle.
4. Remove the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.
5. Remove the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat.
6. Disconnect the power seat adjuster electrical connector from the back of the power seat switch.
7. Remove the seat riser spacer and the power seat adjuster from the seat.
8. Remove the power seat adjuster from the seat risers.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the power seat adjuster to the seat risers.
2. Install the seat riser spacer and the power seat adjuster to the seat.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.
Tighten the seat bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
4. Connect the power seat adjuster electrical connector to the back of the power seat switch.
5. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser.
6. Install the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat.
Tighten the bolts that retain the power seat adjuster to the seat riser to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
7. Install the power seat and riser in the vehicle.
8. Connect the power seat electrical connector to the floor.
9. Install the nuts that retain the bucket seat to the floor. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
Tighten the nuts that retain the power seat to the floor to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
10. Check to ensure that the power seat adjuster operates properly.
