Ignition & Key Alarm Switch - Assemble

Assembly Procedure





1. Install the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) onto the lock module assembly (2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 tapping screws into the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3).
Tighten the screws to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).
3. Install the key alarm connector (1) into the lock module assembly (2).





4. Slide the 2 connectors (2) onto the bulk head connector (1).





5. Install the wire harness strap (2) into the steering column tilt head assembly (1).
6. Install wire harness straps (3) onto the wire harness assembly (4).
7. Install the wire harness assembly (4) into the wire harness strap (5).
8. Install the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle.
