Dome Lamps

Passenger vans and cargo vans have dome lamps in the following locations:
- The front of the vehicle
- The center of the vehicle
- The rear of the vehicle

Cutaway and upfitter models have a single front dome lamp. The dome lamps are powered by the CTSY fuse through CKT 40 (ORN).

The dome lamp circuit is completed by providing a ground. The dome lamps are grounded through CKT 156 (WHT) by the dome lamp switch, which is part of the Instrument Panel (IP) dimmer switch. The dome lamps are also turned on when the illuminated entry module furnishes a ground to the circuit. Refer to Illuminated Entry and Keyless Entry below.

The optional lighting package includes dome reading lamps, which are part of the dome lamp assembly. Push-button switches operate the dome reading lamps. The reading lamps are turned on by pressing the switch. The reading lamps are turned off by pressing the switch again.
