Wait To Start Indicator

The WAIT TO START indicator illuminates in the IPC as determined by the PCM. With the ignition ON and the engine OFF the PCM monitors the glow plugs and during the pre glow condition illuminates the indicator by grounding the wait to start indicator control circuit. The PCM will turn the indicator OFF when the glow plugs reach normal operating condition and the vehicle is ready to start.
