Front Axle Tie Rod Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle with suitable safety stands.
2. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the axle tie rod to the vehicle.
3. Remove the axle tie rod (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the axle tie rod (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts (1) retaining the axle tie rod to the vehicle.
- Tighten the retaining bolts to 160 Nm (118 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the safety stands.
4. Lower the vehicle.
