40. Connect the fuel hoses at the engine.
41. Install the nut and the fuel hose bracket to the valve rocker arm cover stud.
- Tighten the fuel hose bracket nut to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





42. Connect both fuel injection control module harness connectors.
43. Install the engine wire harness in the retainer.





44. Install the cable junction block and bolt to the power steering pump.
- Tighten the cable junction block bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
45. If equipped, install the battery cable to the auxiliary generator.
46. Install the battery cable to the generator.
- Tighten the generator battery cable nut to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
47. Install the battery cable harness clip to the bracket.





48. Connect the following electrical connectors:
- Generator harness connector (1)
- A/C refrigerant switch (3)
- Dual generator harness connector (4), if equipped
- A/C compressor clutch (5)
49. Install the harness clip (2) to the A/C compressor bracket.
50. Install the upper radiator support.
51. Install the A/C condenser.
52. Install the charged air cooler.
53. Install the radiator.





54. Install the outlet radiator hose to the radiator and tighten the hose clamp.
55. Install the hose clips to the frame.





56. Install the outlet radiator hose to the engine and tighten the hose clamp.
57. Install the lower fan shroud.





58. Install the upper fan shroud.
59. Connect the inlet heater hose (1) to the heater core inlet.
Firmly push to quick connector onto the heater core pipe until you hear an audible click.





60. Install the outlet heater hose to the outlet radiator hose.
61. Install the nut (1) retaining the outlet heater hose pipe to the fuel filter mounting bracket.
- Tighten the heater hose pipe bracket to fuel filter assembly nut to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
62. Install the bolt (2) retaining the heater hose pipe to the generator mounting bracket.
- Tighten the heater hose pipe bracket bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





63. Install the outlet radiator hose to the radiator and the engine and tighten the hose clamps.
64. Install the charged air cooler pipes and hoses to the turbocharger and the charged air cooler.





65. Install both front fender wheelhouse inner panels (1).
66. Install both front tires and wheels.
67. Install the surge tank.
68. Install the air cleaner assembly and the bracket.





69. Connect the following engine wire harness connectors:
- Mass air flow switch (1)
- Air continuation pressure cycling switch (2)
- Surge tank switch (6)
70. Install the engine wire harness clip to the accumulator (3).
71. Install the engine wire harness clips to the wheelhouse inner panel (4).
72. Install the engine wire harness clip to the engine bracket (5).





73. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner.





74. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to turbocharger. Align the duct to the air cleaner.
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
75. Connect the batteries negative cables.
76. Fill the engine coolant.
77. Fill the engine with the proper capacity and quality of engine oil.
78. Operate the engine, inspect for coolant, oil, fuel, and exhaust leaks.
79. Inspect for proper oil pressure.
80. Inspect for proper engine operation.





81. Install the upper intake manifold sight shield.
- Tighten the upper intake manifold shield bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).





82. Position the hood in the normal operating position by moving the hood hinge bolts from service position (2) to normal operating position (1).
- Tighten the hood hinge bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
83. Road test the vehicle for normal operation.
84. Inspect for coolant, oil, or exhaust leaks.
