Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LG5)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.




2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
3. Remove the air inlet duct.
4. Disconnect the hose clamps.
5. Remove the heater hose clip bolt, the washer, and the nut.
6. Remove the heater hose clip.




7. Disconnect the outlet hose from the heater core.
8. Disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the outlet hose to the radiator.
2. Connect the outlet hose to the heater core.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Connect the heater hose clip bolt, the washer, and the nut.

Tighten the heater hose clip nut to 16 Nm (12 lb ft).

4. Connect the hose clamps.
5. Add the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
6. Install the air inlet duct.
7. Install the right wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement Service and Repair in Body Front End.
