Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Loosen the clamp and remove the inlet front duct from the air cleaner assembly (1).
2. Loosen the clamp and remove the mass air flow (MAF) sensor (4) from the outlet duct of the air cleaner assembly (1).
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly attaching bolts (3) from the air cleaner assembly mounting bracket (2).

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the air cleaner assembly (1) to the air cleaner assembly mounting bracket (2).

Tighten the air cleaner assembly attaching bolts to 5 Nm (4 lb ft).

2. Install the MAF sensor (4) onto the air cleaner assembly outlet duct (1).
3. Install the inlet air duct assembly on to the air cleaner assembly (1).
4. Tighten the clamps on both the inlet and outlet duct of the air cleaner assembly (1).
