Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement (LG5)

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the harness connector.




2. Remove the coolant sensor (1).
3. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the coolant sensor to the engine (1).

Tighten the coolant sensor to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

2. Install the harness connector.
3. Check the engine coolant level.
4. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling Cooling System Draining and Filling.
