Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement - On Vehicle

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the turn signal switch assembly. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle.




2. Remove the lock retaining screw (2).
3. Remove the steering column lock cylinder set (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Put the steering column lock cylinder set (1) into the lock housing cover assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the lock retaining screw (2).

Tighten the screw to 4.5 Nm (40 lb in).

3. Install the turn signal switch assembly. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle.
