FIXED ANTENNA REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the outboard section of the cowl vent grille panel.
2. Remove the antenna mast.
3. Remove the screws.
4. Disconnect the antenna from the extension cable.
5. Remove the antenna assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the antenna to the cable assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

NOTE: Use tape on the tool surface so that you do not damage the paint on the antenna mast.

3. Install the antenna mast.

Tighten
Tighten the mast to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Install the outboard section of the cowl vent grille panel.
