Center Console End Panel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the center console lid and remove the storage bin.
2. Remove the rear cupholder from the end panel.
3. Remove the tour retaining screws.




4. Remove the top two retaining screws.
5. Move the end panel rearwards to gain access to the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the end panel from the console.
7. Remove the rear seat heater switch, if equipped.
8. Remove the rear seat audio controls, if equipped.
9. Remove the console floor lamp, if equipped. Refer to Console Lamp Replacement in Lighting and Horns.
10. Remove the power outlets from the end panel, if equipped.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the power outlets to the end panel, if equipped.
2. Install the console floor lamp, if equipped. Refer to Console Lamp Replacement in Lighting and Horns.
3. Install the rear seat audio controls, if equipped.
4. Install the rear seat heater switch, if equipped.
5. Connect all electrical connectors.
6. Install the end panel to the console.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




7. Install the two top retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the two screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

8. Install the four retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the four screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

9. Install the rear cupholder to the end panel.
10. Install the storage bin.
