Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Cab Pickup)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat, if necessary.
2. Remove the rear window molding.




3. Remove the arm rest screw.




4. Remove the armrest.
5. Remove the sill trim plates.




6. Remove the quarter panel trim screws.
7. Pull the panel out. Remove the seat belt assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Extended Cab) Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Crew Cab) in Seat Belts.
8. Remove the quarter panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat belt assembly.
2. Install the quarter panel to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the quarter panel trim screws.

Tighten the quarter panel trim screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the sill trim plates.




5. Install the arm rest.




6. Install the arm rest screw.

Tighten the arm rest screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

7. Install the rear window molding.
8. Install the rear seat if necessary.
