58. Piston and Connecting Rod Disassemble
Piston and Connecting Rod Disassemble1. Mark orientation of the piston to the connecting rod.
2. Remove the piston rings using a suitable tool.
3. Remove the connecting rod bearing inserts.
4. Use long nose pliers to remove the piston pin retainers.
5. Remove the piston pin. The pin is a full-floating style and should slide from the piston.
6. Remove the piston from the connecting rod.
