Radiator Replacement (4.3 L)Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator.
3. Remove the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator.
4. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
5. Remove the fan shroud.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
8. Remove the engine oil cooler lines from the radiator (if equipped).
9. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator, if equipped.
10. Remove the radiator by lifting the radiator up and out of the vehicle.
11. Inspect all sealing surfaces for deterioration or signs of leakage.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the radiator onto the rubber mounts in the vehicle.
2. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the radiator, if equipped.
3. Install the engine oil cooler line to the radiator, if equipped.
4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
5. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
6. Install fan shroud.
7. Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
8. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator.
9. Install the coolant recovery reservoir hose to the radiator.
10. Fill the cooling system.
11. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
