Main Bearing Cap Torque

Tighten the crankshaft bearing cap bolts.

Tighten the crankshaft bearing cap bolts on the first pass to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the crankshaft bearing cap bolts on the final pass an additional 73° using the J 36660-A.
