General Information
The blower motor forces outside air into the vehicle's interior. The vehicle operator determines the blower motor's speed by placing either the heater auxiliary blower motor switch and/or the A/C auxiliary blower motor switch in one of the following positions Low, Med, or High. The blower motor will only operate when the ignition is in the RUN position, and the auxiliary heater or auxiliary A/C switch is in any position other than OFF.Power is provided to the auxiliary blower motors from the underhood fuse block through the instrument panel junction block. The IP fuse block provides power to the control side of the A/C relay through the ignition 3 voltage circuit. Once energized, the battery positive voltage circuit provides power through the A/C relay load side, through the auxiliary HVAC switch supply voltage circuit, to the instrument panel junction block. Power is then distributed to the appropriate auxiliary switch Ground is provided to the A/C relay and auxiliary switches by the ground circuits.
