Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble

- J 41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture





1. Install the trim cover protector (1) into the lower trim cover (2).





2. Install the upper trim cover (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the TORX head screw (1).
- Tighten the TORX screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





Important: The shift lever seal must be seated correctly in the trim covers.

4. Install the lower trim cover (1).
5. Install the 2 pan head tapping screws (2) into the lower trim cover.
- Tighten the pan head tapping screws to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.).





6. Remove the steering column and J 41352 from the vise.
