Video Cassette Player Replacement (Luxury Y91)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) extension from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) from the video cassette player (VCP).




3. Remove the screw that is retaining the VCP to the mounting bracket.




4. Remove the 3 screws from the top of the IP extension bezel.
5. Remove the 2 screws inside the lower storage compartment of the IP extension bezel.
6. Remove the VCP from the IP extension.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the VCP to the IP extension.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 screws inside the lower storage compartment of the IP extension bezel.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the 3 screws to the top of the IP extension bezel.

Tighten
Tighten the 3 screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the screw that is retaining the VCP to the mounting bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the VCP retaining screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




5. Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the VCP.
6. Install the IP extension.
