Defroster Grille Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer toWindshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement) in Stationary Windows.




2. Grasp the defroster grill through the defroster vents and pull rearward in order to disengage the retainers.
3. Remove the defroster grill from the vehicle.
4. Inspect the defroster grill for broken or missing retainers, replace the retainers as needed.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the defroster grill to the vehicle.
2. Align the retainers on the defroster grill with the slots in the instrument panel upper trim pad and press the defroster grill into place.
3. Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer toWindshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement) in Stationary Windows.
