Shift Lever Replacement- On Vehicle

Removal Procedure





1. Roll the shift lever boot back until the TORX(R) head screw is exposed.
2. Remove the TORX(R) head screw.
3. Remove the shift lever.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the shift lever.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the TORX-head screw.
- Tighten the TORX-head screw to 18 Nm (14 inch lbs.).
3. Roll the shift lever boot over the TORX(R) head screw.
