Sliding Door Wiring Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to Sliding Door Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Trim Panel Replacement - Sliding Door Lower) .
2. Remove the electrical connector (5) from the sliding side door lock (1).




3. Remove the wiring harness retainers (2) from the sliding side door.
4. Remove the rivets (4), that retain the electrical contacts to the sliding side door, using an appropriate drill and drill bit.
5. Remove the wiring harness (3) from the sliding side door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the wiring harness (3) to the sliding side door.
2. Install the rivets (4), that retain the electrical contacts to the sliding side door, with a rivet gun.
3. Install the wiring harness retainers (2) to the sliding side door.
4. Install the electrical connector (5) to the sliding side door lock (1).
5. Install the sliding side door lower trim panel. Refer to Sliding Door Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Trim Panel Replacement - Sliding Door Lower) .
