SIR Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble

Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble - Off Vehicle





1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers.
2. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the wire harness strap (2).
3. Remove and dispose of the small wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly (1).





4. Remove the retaining ring (3) from the steering shaft assembly by using snap ring pliers.
5. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil assembly (2) from the steering shaft assembly.
6. Remove the wave washer (1) from the steering shaft assembly.
