Mode Door Replacement (Lower)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
2. Remove the heater module from the vehicle. Refer to Heater Case Replacement (C60) or Heater Case Replacement (C69).
3. Remove the lower mode linkage and actuator.
4. Remove the heater module cover screws from the heater module (2).
5. Remove the heater module cover from the heater module (2).
6. Remove the lower mode door (1) to the heater module (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the lower mode door (1) to the heater module (2).
2. Install the heater module cover to the heater module (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the retaining screws into the heater module (2).

Tighten
Tighten screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Install the lower mode linkage and actuator.
5. Install the heater module to the vehicle. Refer to Heater Case Replacement (C60) or Heater Case Replacement (C69).
6. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
