Clutch Rattle
Clutch RattleDiagnostic Aids
A rattling or clicking noise that is coming from the clutch or the transmission may indicate that there is oil on the driven plate damper or the clutch disc. The clutch disc may have been damaged or the disc plate springs and diaphragm springs may be weak. If there is excessive rattling, it may indicate an internal transmission concern.
