Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (Power)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
2. Remove the seat trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement (Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Remove the seat cushion frame from the seat adjuster. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement).




4. Remove the inboard seat belt buckle and nut (1).
Disconnect the electrical connection (2).
5. Remove the seat back frame from the seat adjuster. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement).
6. Remove the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism. Refer to Front Seat Back Hinge and Recliner Mechanism Replacement (Front Seat Back Hinge and Recliner Mechanism Replacement).
7. Remove the seat adjuster track cover. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement).
8. Remove the memory module, if equipped.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the memory module, if equipped.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the inboard seat belt buckle and nut (1).

Tighten the nut to 53 Nm (39 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connection (2).
4. Install the seat adjuster track cover. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement).
5. Install the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism. Refer to Front Seat Back Hinge and Recliner Mechanism Replacement (Front Seat Back Hinge and Recliner Mechanism Replacement).
6. Install the seat back frame to the seat adjuster. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement).
7. Install the seat cushion frame to the seat adjuster. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement).
8. Install the seat trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement (Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement).
9. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
10. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration (Description and Operation).
