Revised Engine Cranks but Does Not Run Diagnostic

Models:
2002-2003 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban
2002-2003 GMC Sierra with 5.3L Engine (VIN Z - RPO L59)

This bulletin is being issued to add the fuel pressure specification for ethanol in the Engine Cranks but Does Not Run diagnostic in the Engine Control - 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L sub-section of the Service Manual.

Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

The fuel pressure specification for the L59 ethanol engine application has been added to the "Values" column of Step 8 in this diagnostic table. This specification is 335-375 kPa (48-54 psi).
