Diagnostic Aids
If the clutch pedal is hard to push, inspect for proper lubrication to the clutch pedal assembly. Inspect the clutch hydraulic lines for blockage or crimping. Inspect for worn or damaged parts on the master cylinder or for the wrong type of fluid. Also inspect the clutch disc. Inspect for measurement or pedal push of 40 lb normal to 80 lb hard.

1. This inspects the clutch system components and the operation of the clutch system.
4. This step inspects for blockage or crimping of the hydraulic line.
10. This step inspects the clutch disc for a worn or damaged clutch disc.
