Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation -Lower Left





1. Install the lower valve rocker arm cover gasket.
2. Install the lower valve rocker arm cover.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the lower valve rocker arm cover screws.
- Tighten the lower valve rocker arm cover screws in the proper sequence to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
- Retighten the lower valve rocker arm cover screws in the proper sequence to the same torque, 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





4. Install the injector harnesses.
5. Install the injector harness bracket bolts.
- Tighten the injector harness bracket bolts to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
6. Install the injector harness connectors to the injectors.
- Tighten the injector terminal nuts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
