Door Wiring Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.




2. Disconnect the cross body wiring harness.
3. Remove the conduit.
4. Remove the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement).
5. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
6. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair




7. Disconnect the following components:

* The outside power mirror (1)
* C203 (4)
* P500 (5)
* The speaker (6)
* The power window motor (7)
* The power lock switch (8)
* The power window switch (9)
* The power mirror switch (10)
* The door lock actuator

8. Remove the door wiring harness from the door, pulling it through the conduit (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the door wiring harness to the door, pulling connectors 4 and 5 through the conduit (3).




2. Connect the following components:

* The outside power mirror (1)
* C203 (4)
* P500 (5)
* The speaker (6)
* The power window motor (7)
* The power lock switch (8)
* The power window switch (9)
* The power mirror switch (10)
* The door lock actuator

3. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
4. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
5. Install the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement (Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement).
6. Install the conduit.




7. Connect the cross body wiring harness.
8. Install the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.
