Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Partially raise the window.
2. Remove the manual door-lock lever.
3. Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the power accessory switch panel. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement (Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement).

5. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
6. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
7. Remove the front bolt attachment from the window run channel.
8. Loosen the retaining bolts (1) from the window assembly.
9. Remove the window glass (2) from the door by sliding the window glass out through the top.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the window glass (2) to the door by sliding the window glass through the top of the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Tighten the retaining bolts (1) to the window assembly.

Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb ft).

3. Install the window run channel bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
6. Install the power accessory switch panel, if equipped. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement (Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement).
7. Install the manual window handle if equipped. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the manual door-lock lever.
9. Inspect the operation of the window.
