79. P2 Planetary Inspection

P2 Planetary Inspection





1. Check the end play between P2 planetary carrier (1) and thrust washer (2) at each pinion gear (3).
2. If the end play exceeds specifications replace the P2 planetary carrier assembly.

Maximum end play is 1.060 mm (0.0417 inch).





3. Inspect bushing (1) for wear and damage.
4. Measure the Inside Diameter (ID) of the bushing at dimension A.
5. If the bushing ID exceeds specifications, replace the bushing.

Maximum bushing ID is 36.575 mm (1.4400 inch).
