Diagnostic Aids
If a rattling or clicking noise is coming from the clutch or the transmission, there may be oil on the driven plate damper or the clutch disc. The clutch disc may have damage or weak disc plate springs and diaphragm springs. There may be internal transmission concerns also.

Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
1. This step inspects the clutch system components and the operation of the clutch system.
2. This step inspects for oil leaks in the clutch system.
