Door Locator Replacement - Upper

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear door frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) in Interior Trim.




2. Remove the nut that retains the locator to the door frame opening.
3. Remove the locator from the vehicle.
4. Remove the screws that retain the locator to the door.
5. Remove the locator from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the locator to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the screws that retain the locator to the door.

Tighten the screws that retain the locator to the door to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Install the locator to the vehicle.
4. Install the bolts that retain the locator to the vehicle.

Tighten the bolts that retain the locator to the vehicle to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

5. Install the rear door frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) in Interior Trim.
