A/T Shift Lock Control - Disassemble

Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control - Disassemble - Off Vehicle

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
2. Remove the upper and lower trim covers.
3. Put the shift lever in the NEUTRAL position.





4. Use a small screwdriver to gently pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column jacket assembly.
