Headlamp Capsule Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the headlamp switch.
2. Remove the grille.
3. Remove the bolts (5) that retain the capsule headlamp to the radiator support. Do not move the adjustment screws.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the headlamp assembly.
5. Remove the capsule headlamp (4) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the headlamp assembly.
2. Install the capsule headlamp (4) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the capsule headlamp retaining bolts (5) to the radiator support.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

4. Install the grille.
