Fuel Tank Draining Procedure (Dual Tanks - Rear)

CAUTION: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Service Precautions Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors.







1. Loosen the fuel fill cap in order to relieve the fuel tank vapor pressure.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehcile Lifting.
3. Loosen the vent hose clamp at the rear tank.
4. Remove the vent hose from the rear tank.
5. Using a hand or air operated pump device, drain as much fuel from the tank as possible.
