Main Pump Dowel Pin Replacement

^ J43779 Dowel Pin Installer





Important: Do not replace the main pump dowel pin or pins unless the pin or pins are damaged.

1. Remove dowel pin (2) from main pump body (3).

Notice: DO NOT mar the main pump body surface when installing the dowel pin(s). Tap gently on the dowel pin installer tool. Heavy or continued hammering will damage the main pump body surface.

2. Using J43779(1), install dowel pin (2). Dowel Pin Height Make sure the dowel pin is installed to a height of 10.7 - 11.3 mm (0.42 - 0.44 inch) above the main pump body surface.
