Dowel Pin Replacement

^ J43779 Dowel Pin Installer





Important: The main valve body has five dowel pins that can be replaced. Do not replace a dowel pin unless the dowel pin is damaged.

Notice: DO NOT mar the main valve body surface when installing the dowel pin(s). Tap gently On the dowel pin installer tool. Heavy or continued hammering will damage the main housing surface.

1. Remove the dowel pin from the main valve body.
2. Place a new dowel pin into J43779 (3)
3. Install J43779 with the dowel pin into the dowel pin hole.
4. Gently tap J43779 until J13779 touches the main housing surface.
Make sure the dowel pin is installed to a height of 10.7 - 11.3 mm (0.42 - 0.44 inch) above the main valve body surface.
