114. Intake Manifold Tube Installation - California Emissions

Intake Manifold Tube Installation (California Emissions)





1. Install the intake manifold tube gasket.
2. Install the intake manifold tube.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service and Precautions

3. Install the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts in sequence.
Tighten the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





4. Install the intake air heater with gasket.
Tighten the intake heater to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the turbocharger boost sensor to the intake manifold tube.
6. Install the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt.
Tighten the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





7. Install the EGR cooler bracket.
8. Install the EGR and cooler.
9. Install the EGR cooler bracket bolts.
Tighten the EGR cooler bracket bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
10. Install the EGR bolts and nuts.
- Tighten the EGR bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the EGR nuts to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
- Install the EGR cooling hose and clamps.
