- Symptoms - Sunroof/Moonroof
SYMPTOMS - SUNROOF/MOONROOFIMPORTANT: Complete the following procedures before using the symptom tables.
1. Perform Diagnostic Starting Point - Sunroof/Moonroof in order to verify that all of the following conditions are true:
- No DTCs are set.
- The control modules can communicate via the serial data link. Diagnostic Starting Point - Sunroof/Moonroof
2. Review the system operation in order to learn the system functions. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation.
Visual/Physical Inspection
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which can affect the operation of the power sunroof system.
- Inspect the accessible system components for obvious damage or for conditions which can cause the symptom.
Intermittent
Bad electrical connections or wiring may cause intermittent conditions.

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
- Power Sunroof Inoperative
- Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout (with Relay)Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout (No Relay, Class 2) in Retained Accessory Power, if the power sunroof should operate longer than the RAP timeout.
