Cylinder Head Bolts Torque Sequence - Left Side:

Cylinder Head Bolts Torque Sequence - Right Side:

Important: The cylinder head bolts are NOT reusable.

Cylinder Head Bolts:

Tighten the M11 bolts a first pass in sequence to 30 Nm (22 lb ft)
Tighten the M11 bolts a second pass in sequence to 90° using J 36660-A
Tighten the M11 bolts (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) to 90° and the M11 bolts (9 and 10) to 50° a final pass in sequence using J 36660-A.
Tighten the M8 bolts (11,12,13,14,15) to 30 Nm (22 lb ft). Begin with the center bolt (11) and alternating side-to-side, work outward tightening all of the bolts.

First Pass in Sequence 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Final Pass in Sequence 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)

Crankshaft Balancer Bolt - Final Pass 140 degrees

Exhaust Manifold Bolt Torque Sequence:

Exhaust Manifold Bolts
First Pass 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Final Pass 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
