Input Shaft Disassemble

- J 36513 Gear and Bearing Separator

Important: Only remove the bearings if replacing the bearings. Do not reuse the bearings after removal. You must also replace the race for the bearing being replaced.





1. Inspect the bearing for damage or wear.
2. Using a hydraulic press and the J 36513 (1), remove the input shaft bearing.





3. Remove the input shaft oil deflector using a suitable prying tool.
4. Discard the input shaft oil deflector after removal,
