124. Generator and Drive Belt Tensioner Bracket Installation
Drive Belt Tensioner and Generator Mounting Bracket InstallationTools Required
* J25033-C Pulley Installer
1. Install the drive belt tensioner and generator mounting bracket.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service and Precautions.
Fastener Notice
2. Install the drive belt tensioner and generator mounting bracket bolts.
Tighten the drive belt tensioner and generator mounting bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
3. Install the vacuum pump - California Emissions.
4. Install the vacuum pump bolts - California Emissions.
Tighten the vacuum pump bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the vacuum pump pulley using J25033-C - California Emissions
6. Install the tensioner pulley.
7. Install the tensioner pulley bolt.
Tighten the tensioner pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the left idler pulley.
9. Install the left idler pulley bolt.
Tighten the left idler pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
10. Install the right idler pulley.
11. Install the right idler pulley bolt.
Tighten the right idler pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
12. Install the schrader valve bracket (4).
13. Install the schrader valve (3).
14. Install the fuel injection control module harness bracket (2).
15. Install the fuel injection control module harness bracket nuts (1).
16. Connect the crankcase vent hose to the engine block.
17. Install the crankcase ventilation hoses 10 the valve rocker arm covers.
