Window Replacement - Rear Door
Removal Procedure
Caution: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Remove the stationary window assembly.
4. Remove the weatherstrip.
5. Remove the rear window run channel.
6. Push the window rearward.
7. Rotate the window in order to release the window sash channel from the regulator rollers.
8. Remove the window from the regulator.
9. Remove the window from the door.
Installation Procedure
1. Move the regulator to the half-way down position in order to locate the front roller.
2. Install the window into the door.
3. Install the window sash to the regulator.
4. Insert the window sash channel into the rear roller.
5. Level the glass to a vertical position.
6. Slide the glass forward in order to insert the front roller into the sash channel.
7. Insert the front roller into the sash channel.
8. Lift the window lightly by hand in order to inspect the alignment of the window.
The window should feel stationary.
9. Install the rear window run channel.
10. Install the weatherstrip.
11. Install the stationary window assembly.
12. Install the water deflector.
13. Install the door trim panel.
