Door Replacement - Left Rear

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the left side rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Left (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Left).
2. Remove the rear door extension. Refer to Extension Panel Replacement - Rear Door ().
3. Remove the left side rear door latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Lower (Latch Replacement - Lower) and Latch Replacement - Upper (Latch Replacement - Upper).
4. Remove the left side rear door latch handle. Refer toLatch Replacement - Lower (Latch Replacement - Lower).
5. Remove the left side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer toWiring Harness Replacement - Door ().
6. Remove the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer toHinged Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) in Stationary Windows.
7. Remove the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower (Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower) in Doors.
8. Remove the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
9. Remove the bolts that retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
10. Remove the left side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left side rear door to the vehicle with an assistance.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
4. Install the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower (Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower) in Doors.
5. Install the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer toHinged Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) in Stationary Windows.
6. Install the left side rear door wiring harness to the door. Refer toWiring Harness Replacement - Door ().
7. Install the left side rear door latch handle. Refer toLatch Replacement - Lower (Latch Replacement - Lower).
8. Install the left side rear door latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Lower (Latch Replacement - Lower) and Latch Replacement - Upper (Latch Replacement - Upper).
9. Install the rear door extension. Refer toExtension Panel Replacement - Rear Door ().
10. Install the left side rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Left (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Left).
