Lock Replacement - Sliding Door Rear

LOCK REPLACEMENT - SLIDING DOOR REAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel.
2. Remove the lock rods from the sliding side door rear lock.
3. Remove the bolts that retain the sliding side door rear lock to the sliding side door.
4. Remove the sliding side door rear lock from the door.
5. Remove the sliding side door rear lock from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sliding side door rear lock to the vehicle.
2. Install the sliding side door rear lock to the door.
3. Install the bolts in order to retain the sliding side door rear lock to the sliding side door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the lock rods to the sliding side door rear lock.
5. Install the sliding side door lower trim panel.
