Instrument Panel (IP) Extension

INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) EXTENSION REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Fully open the instrument panel I/P extension door, if equipped.
2. Remove the lower I/P extension bolts (4).
3. Remove the upper I/P extension bolts (3).
4. Remove the I/P lower extension from the vehicle (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the I/P lower extension (2) to the vehicle.

An audible click indicates I/P lower extension has engaged the retainer pins (1).

IMPORTANT: Ensure the HVAC duct engages the I/P extension duct.

2. Install the upper (3) and lower (4) bolts to the I/P lower extension (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (3, 4) to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Close the I/P extension door, if equipped.
